数字时代,信息资源十分丰富。面对海量的信息,图书馆工作人员不仅仅要借书还书、接待读者,还要指导读者查询和检索信息。图书馆作为知识汇集之地,担负着传播文化的重任。这就要求图书馆从业人员不仅要掌握专业知识,还要尽量广博,以满足各种类型读者的不同需求。为此,培养图书馆"复合型人才"就很有必要。

In the digital age information resources are very rich. Facing up to massive information, library staff carry out not only to borrow books and to receive readers, but also to direct the readers to query and retrieve information, to make the guide to readers. As knowledge collection place, library still carries out the important task to publicize culture and to educate the people. Due to the current situation library must have higher requirements for library staff that not only should master the professional knowl- edge, but also should meet the different needs of readers of various t~/pes. Thus the training library ＂composite talents＂ is very nec- essary. Library should have its own ＂outstanding specialists＂ due to beneficial time and place that are also from the ＂complex talent＂.
