Selection Analysis of Automation Control Systems Used in Water Industry

近几年,中国各地都在兴建/扩建污水厂和净水厂,或者对老厂进行自动化改造。自控系统对于水处理厂高效、节能运行的重要性也得到普遍认可。DCS系统在欧美发达国家的水处理行业已获得广泛应用,有力促进了污水处理管控一体化的发展,取得了良好的经济效益和社会效益。而国内污水处理项目鲜有采用DCS,基本上都是采用PLC系统。目前国产DCS系统已在国内水行业中获得应用,在工程实施和水厂运营中显现出了较好的经济、社会效益,值得推广。

Many sewage treatment plants and water purification plants have been newly constructed or extensively renovated, and the automation control systems of water treatment plants have been reeonstructed around China over the past few years. The significance of the automation control system to a high-efficient and energy-saving water treatment plant has already been recognized. Due to the wide applications of DCSsystems in European and American developed countries, the management-control integration for sewage treatment has been improved, and economic and social benefits have been gained. Nevertheless, in China, PLC is usually adopted for sewage treatment projects instead of DCS. Localized DCS system has been put into application in Chinese water industry and it is worth promoting for good economic and social benefits that have been proved during the engineering implementation and plant operation.
