Guangzhou Opera House,designed by London-based, 2004 Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid,was finally completed and opened last month.The building consists of two structures that look like aerolites:a concept inspired by Haizhu stone found in the Pearl River.The Guangzhou Opera House is poised to become a firstclass venue in China.Yet hardware that matches international standards is not enough,professional theater management must also go hand in hand inside the venue.
