本文阐述了坚持集体选书的必要性，通过大学系资料室的具体实践，指出集体选书制度应该坚持实行，并且需要不断改进与完善。

Abstract This paper expounded the necessity of colletive subscription for books and the practice of persisting in subscribing for books by groups.How to select the documents needed among a variety of literatures? The experience of libraries at home and abroad is to consider readers, opinions. The subscription for books by groups has become the inevitable tendency of modern book-collection. In the practice of subscribing for books ,we must be overcome continually. At the sametime, the regulation of readers, and librarians,participation in subscribing for books jointly should be insisted, improved and perfected.
