三峡双线五级船闸水头113m单级最高工作水头45.2m,闸室有效尺寸280m×34m×5m。共设人字门24扇,总重20000t,预计整体调试时间长达1年之久,安装时间将不足两年。影响工期的制约因素是门体吊装和运输,而决定安装质量的是门体焊接变形控制。第二闸首人字门安装是关健,有就地顶升法和浮式移位法。后者可使底坎混凝土浇筑时间缩短20天,移位操作时间缩短12天,停航时间缩短62天。
The Three Gorges double - way and five - step shiplock will operate under a max. head of 113 m equipped with 24 miter gates weighing 20 000 t, and a clear chamber size of 280m × 34m × 5m for each step. The trail tests for the integrated metalstructures will take more than one year, but the installation will take less than two years. The factor controlling the construction schedule will be the transport, lifting and erection of the gates. The weld deformation control of gates will have decisive impact on the installation quality. The installation of the gate at the lock head N0. 2, the critical procedure, will be completed by the process of jack lifting or floating - displacement. By the latter process, the concrete placement time for stills may be reduced by 20 days, the displacement operation time reduced by 12 days and the navigation suspension reduced by 62 days.
