The Integration of Deliberative Democracy and Public Participation in Contemporary Chinese Grass-roots Communities

随着改革开放的深入,我国基层社会进一步分化,同时基层选举又加剧了社会的矛盾和冲突,导致基层社会整合力明显不足,在应对和处理公共问题的能力上明显下降。当下,在中国基层社会出现的各种民主协商实践是人们自我组织的形式,而且它与西方兴起的协商民主理论相耦合,这为中国基层领域的社会整合提供了一个新的视角。

With the reformation and opening up to the outside world,there are further differentiations in grass-roots communities.Grassroots election strengthens social contradictions,which weakens the capacity of social integration and decrease the ability to deal with the public issues.The appearance of various democratic consultations is coupling to the rise of deliberative democracy theory,which provides a new perspective for social integration of the integration of grass-roots communities.
