Reviewed the developing history of medical molecular biology and prospected the trends of medical molecular biology in 21th century.Progress of theory and technology in molecular biology has changed the pattern and concept for medical research,and impelled us to deeply understand diseases at molecular level.So new concepts such as molecular diseases,gene diseases,conformation diseases,and signal diseases were proposed one after another.Developing of medical molecular biology in future will close together integrate with cell biology,development biology,neurobiology and theoretical medicine and so on,and accomplish comprehensive research at molecular level,cellular level and in vivo level.
