Comparison of Different ICP Monitoring Methods in Reducing Renal Toxicity from Mannitol

对５９例重型颅脑外伤病人应用甘露醇后肾功能情况进行了调查分析，依据调查结果提出：在颅内压监护下应用甘露醇可降低其对肾脏的毒性作用；药物的应用剂量、时间、病人年龄等因素是引起肾功能损害的重要原因。提示在临床用药中要根据颅内压情况适时调整甘露醇的应用方法，做到有的放矢；

Kidney functions of 175 patients who were treated by mannitol for heavey craniocerebral injury were assessed.The results showed that mannitol may reduced the kidney toxicity when ICP monitoring were applicated.The important factors related to kidney toxicity included dosage,time of drug administration and age of patients.The results showed that we must adjust the ways of clinical use of mannitol by ICP monitoring.We must pay attention to the young and old patients for kidney toxicity.
