Rereading Toward a New Architecture:the strategy and intention of Le Corbusier's Text

本文对现代建筑的经典文本《走向新建筑》的概念结构进行梳理,以阐明该书作者勒柯布西耶的策略和意图。借助该书的出版,柯布西耶以机器时代的造型事件作为证据,完成对学院派古典建筑体系的批判和继承,并提出一种不同于古典建筑体系的空间概念:全景敞视主义。以这种方式,这位现代建筑的先驱者在观念上为新建筑体系的出台做充分的准备。

By sort out the concept structure of the text of Toward a New Architecture which is one of the dassics text of modem architecture, this discourse aim at illuminate the strategy and intention of the author Le Corbusier. As this pamphlet was published, Le Corbusier has put the machine as the evidence of the contemporary era, criticized and inherited the classic architecture system of academy, and put forward a new spatial concept which is contrary to that of classic architecture. In this way, the precursor of modern architecture had been fully prepared for a new architecture system in abstracto.
