In this article,the background of making the industry standard of stainless steel and low carbon steel activating fluxes in A- TIG welding was introduced.Then the necessity,principle and basis of the standard were reported.The main content of the standard included scope of application,classification ,technical requirements,test methods and test regulation.Finally discussion and prospects were made about the impact of the standard after being published.
