In the U.S.,the state legislation on athlete agents lacks consistency.In order to unify the state legislation on athlete agents,and strengthen the supervision of the athlete agent,the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws passed the Uniform Athlete Agents Act（UAAA） in 2000.This paper introduces the main contents of the UAAA,including the definitions,supervision,registration as athlete agents,sport agent contracts,legal responsibilities,etc..This paper also analyses the advantages of the UAAA,including uniformity of state law,protection for student athletes and education institutions,and convenience for athlete agents,etc.
