摘要
通过对独立学院非英语专业本科生英语学习水平的调查,探讨学生英语学习水平在专业之间存在的差异性,并采用问卷调查和教师访谈的方式具体分析影响差异性的主要因素。通过研究证明,各专业学生在大学英语学习水平上存在明显差异,主要原因是学科背景、学习目标、学习动机和班级学习气氛等影响因素不同。为此,笔者结合专业个体差异性和英语教学自身特征,对改善独立学院英语教学现状、提高英语教学质量提出了一些建设性的意见。
Via the investigation of English study level of non-English major undergraduates in independent college,this paper probes into the differences of English study level between students from different specialties.By means of questionnaire survey and teacher interview,it analyzes the major factors influencing the differences.It turns out that there are conspicuous differences of English study level between students from different specialties,mainly due to the differences in specialty,learning goal,learning motivation and learning atmosphere.Therefore,combining the diversity of specialties and the character of English teaching,the author puts forward some constructive countermeasures for improving the present condition of the independent college English teaching and enhancing English teaching quality.
