Critical Discourse Analysis of Political Speech Based on Corpus

利用语料库语言学在语言分析方面采用的概率法,结合批评话语分析理论和系统功能语法理论,通过对布什政治演讲语篇中话语特征的提取和阐释,展示了政治演讲话语中不同的话语策略所体现的不同的社会权势身份和所传达的不同的社会意识形态。基于这一全新的语言分析视角,通过关键词分析、高频词生成和中心词检索,再现演讲所传达的意识形态,所展示的语言与权力之间的关系和语言与社会身份的构建过程。

By utilizing the probability method of language analysis in corpus linguistics,combining the theory of critical discourse analysis and systematic functional grammar,and by extracting and explaining the discourse features of Bush＇s political speeches,we find that different discourse strategies embody different social power identity and different social ideology.Based on this new approach of language analysis,the ideology conveyed by the orator,the relations between language and power,and the constructing process of language and social identity have reappeared through analysis of keywords,production of high frequency words,and the concordance of headwords
