The paper discusses the original speaker＇s tone in interpretation,which encodes his/her emotions and therefore constitutes the intended meaning.Pragmatic values of the tone should be fully recognized in interpreting.Three major issues,namely the implication of discourse,the cross-language image-encoding and the differences between styles,should be taken into account adequately and comprehensively in interpreting.
