On Graded English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

摘要 由于学生英语基础的参差不齐所产生的教学困境在高职英语教学中较为普遍,按照惯例组织的高职英语教学常常产生这样的问题:教学效果不彰,英语学习两级分化;英语教师难以组织教学,教学评价困难。高职英语分级教学是解决该问题的有效方法,有利于激发学生的自主学习兴趣及提高教师的教学质量。 This essay is to point out the mess caused by the big diversity in students’ English level in higher vocational colleges.English teaching organized in the old way has resulted in the following problems: English teaching is ineffective English learning appears polarized.Teachers find it difficult to organize and evaluate English teaching.The Graded English Teaching is proposed on the basis of analysis,which includes the procedure of implementing the Graded English Teaching,the teaching approaches of the Graded English Teaching,the function of school-based textbooks in the Graded English Teaching,and the assessment methods for the Graded English Teaching.
