The paper describes the applications of high-voltage vacuum interrupter provided with shield and which is more important in the development of compact high-voltage vacuum interrupters. Introduce the different kind of shields to uniform the field strength, coordinate relations between the electrode gap and the shield, and analysis of contact and shield constructions.
