Application of the Principles of Chinese-English Business Translation and Its Implication

商贸翻译在当今商务活动中的作用越来越突出,而商贸翻译却是翻译学科中的薄弱环节,译文质量不尽人意,现状令人担忧。本文根据刘法公教授提出的商贸汉英翻译三原则,结合实例评析译文,总结商贸汉英翻译中的常见问题,并尝试提出一些改进措施,以期提高商贸汉英翻译质量。

Business translation is playing an increasingly important role in business affairs.However,it is the weak link in translation and its quality is far from satisfying.Based on Professor Liu Fagong＇s Principles of Chinese-English（C-E） business translation,this paper criticizes the original translation of an example,summarizes the common problems existed in C-E business translation and provides some suggestions for improvement.
