Kazak people,living mainly as nomad,have developed their distinctive grassland culture. As one of the carriers of this culture,their national costumes embody the richness of the folk culture. By the presentation of the birth,development and content of the Kazak＇s national costumes,the article highlights the important influence of the national costumes on social life and folk culture and puts forward some measures about protecting the folk culture.
