The Main Princioles of Dewey＇s Emoirical Naturalism

杜威的经验自然主义是其哲学之根，它建立于杜威对传统哲学的“经验”概念的改造、和进化论的自然主义的生长范式的基础。对杜威形而上学的理解可以清晰化为这样几个原则：情境原则、直接经验原则、整体和连续性原则、关系和交往原则。这有助于理解杜威的工具主义真理观、逻辑探究理论、教育哲学和社会政治理论，也可厘清杜威与其批评者争执的问题所在。

Dewey＇s Empirical Naturalism, the foundation of his philosophy, is based on his reconstruction of the concept ＂experience＂ in traditional philosophy and the growth mode of naturalism of evolution. Dewey＇s metaphysics can be understood on such principles as situation principle,direct experience principle, integrity and continuity principle, relation and transaction principle. Those principles will contribute to understanding Dewey＇ s instrumentalism,logical inquiry theory, educational philosophy and social politics theory,and to clarifying what the disputes are between Dewey and his critics.
