Influence of the knowledge economy on the development of Chinese mining industry is of utmost importance. This paper analyzes the Chinese mining industry economics, explains the mining industry economic formation, and points out the problems to be badly in need of solution, with which China will be faced. They are to deepen and change the cognition of natural resources value, to go out of self enclosed thier own little world, to enter into social economic greater circulation, to internationalize the mining industry market to a higher degree, and to tighten up training of high quality technologist to fit in with the need of the global competition.
