分4个时期初步探讨了长江中游的水环境在历史时期的变迁,并以荆州、武汉、宜昌等几个有代表性的城市为例,分析了长江中游地区水环境的变迁对城市空间位置、空间形态、功能、兴衰和分布等方面的影响.

This article can be divided into four periods that preliminarily discussed the water environment vicissitude in the middle reaches of Yangtze River in historical period, then taking several typical cities-Jingzhou, Wuhan, Yichang as examples, analyzed the impacts of water environment vicissitude in the middle reaches of Yangtze River on urban spatial position, structure, function, rise,fall and distribution, etc.
