摘要
There are two major RE applications in China. One is in traditional fields including applications in metallurgy ＆ machinery, petroleum ＆ chemical industry, glass ＆ ceramics and agriculture, light industry and textile industry, etc. And the other is application in hi-tech industry including permanent magnetic materials, phosphors, hydrogen storage materials, catalytic materials, polishing powders and so on. Application of rare earth in steel is characterized by following features in recent three years in China.
