Review and Analysis on the Reform and Opening-up of Qingyuan Region over Three Decades

清远地区与全国一样,改革开放三十年实现了历史大跨越,由小农经济跨进了工业化时期;由温饱型转向发展型;而全国性的社会大流动是实现跨越的主要动力与原因。清远地区改革开放中最大特征是出现"清远现象",即在二十一世纪这些年来加速发展,大大缩短了与先发的珠三角地区差距,为缓解广东区域发展不平稳作出努力。究其原因:一是自觉落实科学发展观,二是解放思想善抓机遇,三是营造宽松和谐文化环境。

Qingyuan region like other areas in China witnessed a historical step forward with three decades of reform and opening up,transforming from small-scale peasant economy into industrialization;from subsistence-based society into developing one due to the driving force of social mobility in national scale. ＂Qingyuan Phenomenon＂ as the most significant feature of the reform and opening up in Qingyuan areas,means its accelerated development in the twenty-first century and indicates a shortening gap with the pre-emptive region of Pearl River Delta,for which efforts are make to address the economic imbalance in Guangdong.The reasons are summed up as follows：First,implementing the scientific development concept consciously;second,emancipating the mind and seizing great opportunities;third,building a relaxed and harmonious cultural environment.
