Experiences of Producing High Quality Carbon Steel Castings by Expendable Pattern Casting Technics

根据消失模铸造(EPC)工艺生产碳钢铸件的生产实践,介绍了采用EPC工艺生产碳钢铸件主要存在的问题与特有缺陷,以及EPC工艺中特有缺陷的几种重要影响因素及与这些因素相关的缺陷防止办法。

According to the manufacture practice of producing carbon steel castings by Expendable Pattern Casting （EPC） technics, the methods of producing high quality carbon steel castings by EPC technics are introduced. The existing main problems and special defects of producing carbon steel castings by EPC technics are presented. Several significant influnce factors of the special defects of EPC technics and the ways and means of defects prevented associating with these effect factors are proposed.
