Characteristics of the early modernization in Liao River Basin

现代化是一个涉及转型的历史过程,也是人类社会发展的共同潮流。现代化理论开拓了历史研究的视域,用现代化的理论与视角来研究辽河流域早期现代化历程的特点,主要表现在三个方面:被动应对性、筹边防御性与民族主义性,这是辽河流域相对于中国其他地区早期现代化历程比较明显的特点。

Modernization is a historical process involving transformation.It is a common trend of development of human society.Modernization theory has opened up a horizon of historical research with modernization theories and perspectives to study the characteristics of early modern history in the Liao River Basin.It is mainly in three aspects ： a passive response to nature,to raise edge of defense and nationalism,which is the more obvious features of the early modernization process in the Liao River Basin relative to other parts of China.
