The technology feeds a building＇s electricity needs as a priority, and then transfers the surplus into the local power grid. In this way homes and office buildings are actually distributed micro green power plants. This huge potential will become the architectural norm in the near future, so the design of BIPV is being strenuously promoted at the Shanghai Expo.
