A Thought and Consideration Over the Heaviest Snow in the Past 60 Years

北京市59年来最大暴雪，除雪能力遭受考验 2010年1月2—3日，新年北京第一场大雪给京城披上了厚重的银装，据报道，一天一晚连续降雪使城区积雪厚度超过15cm，怀柔、平谷等郊区县甚至达到40cm，数十年不遇的大雪给北京交通保障带来了不小的考验。

Earlier Jan. 2010, a heavy snowing hit Beijing, which was the largest snow in the past 60 years, and all departments in concern tried their best to clean snow. However, there did exist a certain of shortcomings, for example, low-efficiency and low-rate coverage of snowplows and over-use of snow-meltingchemicals, etc. It is highly suggested that the government should purchase more snowplows and optimize all facilities and equipments for cleaning snow.
