受全球金融危机影响，国内重卡市场2008年7月-2009年6月表现惨淡，2009年7月止跌回升，至2010年3月，每月以71％～630％增速强势反弹，2009年实现了17．71％的平稳增长，2010年第1季度实现了91％的高速增长。只是国内重卡出口市场仍未恢复。对于2010年走势，行业人士看法有别，包括乐观或谨慎乐观。
When interviewed by the reporter of Commercial Vehicles magazine recently, Liu Hanru, CAMC Board Chairman talked freely his comments and opinions about his company's development, as well as current performance of auto industry. He thought that Hualing Heavy-duty Truck should conservatively take a stable development strategy in coming future though the company was ranked on the leading position in 2009 and the first quarter of 2010 in terms of growth rate.
