中国本土汽车企业实力不断增强,同时,国内汽车市场竞争不断加剧,迫使跨国车企不得不改变原有的竞争策略。金融危机更使中国汽车企业合资双方实力此消彼长——外方股东在合资公司中的权力和地位被相对削弱。
Increasing strength of China's local automobile companies and growing competition in the Chinese automobile market have forced global companies change their current competitive strategies. The financial crisis has also contributed to the shift of power in automobile joint ventures in China-the power and position of foreign investors in such JVs have weakened in a relative sense. Therefore some believe that China's auto industry is undergoing a fundamental change after 30 years of the JV strategy but others do not agree However it is a undisputable fact that China's local automobile brands are starting to catch up with JV brands which are feeling competition from the former in their struggle for market shares.
