This article mainly introduces the quick way of design the curved twills by using woven fabrics CAD software.Through the concise description of using CAD software to design curved twills,this article introduces the train of thought of ‘lifting plan-draft-weave-woven fabrics simulation’when using CAD to design curved twills and compares the new train of thought with the traditional way of designing ‘weave-draft-lifting plan-woven fabrics simulation’as well.The result indicates that the new way of design can simplify the process of design and reduce the workload,make the complex design of woven fabrics weave simple and fast.Meanwhile,this article expands the theory in order to make references to the quick designing of zigzag twill and crepe weaves by using CAD software.
