Application and Problem Solutions of Intelligent CD-ROM Cabinet in University Libraries

中国矿业大学图书馆在2008年引进智能化光盘管理柜,并在因需求而服务的理念指导下,经过调研,逐步摸索出一套随书光盘管理的新模式——智能光盘柜与光盘检索系统相结合的管理模式。此种模式为随书光盘的存储提供了保障,也使智能光盘柜得到了更合理的利用。尽管智能光盘柜在使用中会出现一些故障,但是相信随着其功能的进一步发展和完善,它将会在随书光盘管理与服务中发挥更大的作用。

China University of Mining and Technology Library introduced intelligent CD-ROM cabinet in 2008.Through the investigation,the library has explored a new model of combining CD-ROM attached to books with traditional retrieval system under the concept of services due to demands.The model is beneficial to the storage of CD-ROM attached to books and the rational usage of intelligent CD-ROM cabinet.Though there are some faults in the usage now,intelligent CD-ROM cabinet will play positive roles in the management and services of CD-ROM attached to books.
