This paper introduces the energy consumption composition of ethylene plant,the energy conservation and consumption reduction measures for each unit and the specific calculation method for energy consumption of the plant.By comparing the energy consumption of the ethylene plant in Eastern Chemical Works with advanced level in the same industry,the deficiencies are identified and suggestions for further reducing the energy consumption of the plant are put forward based on the summary of energy conservation and consumption reduction measures taken.
