回顾了涤纶纤维６０年发展中经历了３个重大的调整时期，达到了空前的辉煌。并指出２０００年前后世界涤纶纤维将进入第三次调整时期。微观、宏观的共混、复合改性将是第三次调整时期的涤纶纤维技术发展的主流。仿生技术特别是生物化学及基因工程是未来纤维发展重要技术手段。
Looked back what PET fibre experienced in the past 60 years and point out that copolyblend and compound modification will be the mainstream of PET fibre technology in the 3rd adjustment period around the year 2000.Bionics technology especially biochemistry and gene engineering are very important technical means.
