The Alterations and Characteristics of Social Classes and Stratums in Today's China

改革开放之后,随着市场的引入和全球化的推进,中国的社会阶层关系发生了前所未有的变化,呈现出非常复杂的特性,既具有资本经济的一些特性,又带有社会主义的一些属性,还掺合着许多中国社会和文化的传统因素。从利益、权力和身份三个维度透视这种关系时可以发现,当前中国的阶级阶层关系是一种以利益博弈为主导、以权力为型塑机制、将身份地位作为核心价值追求的关系,其未来的演变方向面临着博弈的扩大与合法性等问题的挑战。

With marketization and globalization,the unprecedented alterations have taken place since the reform and opening up in 1978,thus mixing with some of capitalism and socialism,and some of China＇s society and traditional culture. In the perspectives of benefit,power and status,benefit is the main factor with the adjustment of power and the core value of status,and there are some challenges in the widening of benefit as well as their validity.
