摘要
"温柔敦厚"是中国美学研究领域一个影响深远的命题,它源于儒家的"中庸"哲学,是将儒家关于思想道德的行为准则应用于文艺审美方面的自然结果,其逻辑推演的路径是由"中庸"到"中和",然后引申为"温柔敦厚"。从中国文艺学发展的现实情况来看,以"温柔敦厚"作为"中和"美学观的典型性表述是比较恰如其分的。
＂Being Tender,Honest and Sincere＂ has influenced a lot,whose source is the ＂Mean Way＂ philosophy,a result of putting the Confucian thoughts and virtues into literature,and whose process is from the ＂Mean Way＂ to ＂Harmony by Centrality＂ and thence to ＂Being Tender,Honest and Sincere＂. In the perspective of literary development,it is proper to consider ＂Being Tender,Honest and Sincere＂ as a typical statement of ＂Harmony by Centrality＂.
