Bring "Light" for the Visually Impaired——How the Public Library Services for Visually Impaired People

残疾人作为弱势群体,受到全社会的关注。如何使他们与健全人一样享受同样学习的权力,提高他们的文化知识水平和自身的素质,提高他们的生活质量,构建和谐社会,是图书馆人的责任所在。本文简要介绍了国内外公共图书馆为视觉障碍者服务的基本概况,从关注该群体的角度出发,提出了公共图书馆为视觉障碍者服务的一些设想。

People with disabilities as vulnerable group are concerned by the whole community. The library has the responsibility to build a harmonious society; make them enjoy the fight of learning just like the healthy people, then to enhance their knowledge and behavior, improving their quality of life. This paper briefly introduces the basic information of the domestic and international public library services for visually impaired people, basic on the perspective of the visually impaired people; it provides some ideas of public library about the services for visually impaired group.
