《红楼梦》英译本中译者主体性的体现

On Yang Xianyi and Hawkes Subjectivity in Translating Hong Lou Meng

译者是翻译的主体,也是文化活动中的重要参与者。译者主体性的存在直接影响着翻译的过程,并影响着翻译的结果。本文从杨宪益夫妇和Hawkes翻译的《红楼梦》作为研究对象,从译者对原文的选择、理解,译入语的文化意识、译者主体性的发挥四个方面分析译者主体性的体现。

The translator is the subjectivity of translation and an important participant in the activity of culture.The existence of translator＇s subjectivity influences the process of translation directly and great influence on translation practice.Taken the two different English versions of Hong Lou Meng,this paper addresses the subjectivity of the translator in four aspects.
