The newest technology of solvent deasphalting inside and outside China, mainly ROSE supercritical extraction technique, was described, with the emphasis on comparing the gaps of technique and energyconsumption inside and outside China. It was clarified that we should use the domestic and foreign advancedtechnologies in domestic solvent deasphalting unit on processing technique, processing capacily, selection of solvent and equipment, enabling the available units to bring further potential into play under the trend of increasing the mixing residua ability.
