党的十六届六中全会审议通过的《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干问题的决定》明确提出了社会主义核心价值体系的基本内容,党的十七大再次强调建设社会主义核心价值体系,增强社会主义意识形态的吸引力和凝聚力。建设社会主义核心价值体系是党在新时期提出的马克思主义理论建设工程又一重大科学命题。在社会主义核心价值体系科学内涵的基础上,概括出社会主义核心价值体系的基本特征。

The ＂resolutions of the CPC Central Committee on major issues regarding the building of a harmonious socialist society＂ adopted in the Sixth Plenary Sessions of the CPC s Sixteenth Central Committee clearly puts forward the fundamental contents of the socialist core value system,and the party＇s seventeenth conference emphases again the construction of the socialist core value system,enhancing the attraction and cohesion of the socialist ideology.Constructing the socialist core value system is another critical subject of constructing Marxist theory engineering adopted by the party in the new period.The present article generalizes the fundamental features of the socialist core value system based on the scientific connotation of the socialist core value system.
