高职高专院校学生英语学习态度和策略调查研究

Study on English Learning Attitude and Strategies in Higher Vocational College Students

通过对云南省某高职高专院校2008级非英语专业440名学生学习态度、学习目的、学习策略等方面的调查得出结论:在大学英语教学改革这一大环境下,高职高专院校学生在学习英语的过程中,学习积极性虽然很高,学习的目的性也较明确,但尚未摆脱传统的学习观念和学习方法,习惯于以教师为中心的课堂教学模式。提出当前高职高专英语教学改革的重点同样应放在转变学生的学习观念和学习方法,注重培养学生英语的听、说、读、写等综合技能,以提高学生英语自主学习能力和综合应用能力。

Through taking 440 freshmen in a higher vocational college of Yunnan as an example,Chinese non-English majors＇ attitude,objectives and strategies towards English learning,we may draw the conclusion： on the premise of the reform in college English education,though the students enthusiasm for study are very high and have a definite aim,they have not gotten rid of the traditional learning idea and learning method.They definitely have accustomed to the teacher-oriented classroom teaching pattern.The paper suggests that we should lay stress on changing the students learning attitude and methods,foster their comprehensive English skills,especially in listening,speaking,reading and reading to enhance the English learning ability and comprehensive English capacity.
