The simulation technology is an effective solution for the disadvantages of wide district, lots of experiments and huge cost in shortwave communication experimentation. The＇status of wideband HF channel simulator in shortwave communication experimentation is introduced. The modeling technique of wideband HF channel and the realization of each function module are proposed. The application of wideband HF channel simulator in shortwave communication experimentation is expatiated. This technique can he applied to appraisal experimentation of shortwave broadcasting station, and has important significance on shving R＆D time and outlay.
