山西应县发现大型瓷石矿。本文对应县瓷石的矿物组成、化学组成及陶瓷工艺性能进行了较全面的分析研究，并介绍了该瓷石在玻化砖及卫生瓷方面的应用情况，试图从理论和实践两方面说明，应县瓷石是可以广泛应用于陶瓷生产的廉价原料。
