In his novel Light in August,Faulkner uses multi-perspective narration to remodel the narrative structure of traditional fiction,creating a narrative work of unique artistry which combines traditional artistic writing devices with modern innovative techniques,and revealing such multiple themes as the significance of individual experience,the nature of the community,the individual status,loneliness and bewilderment in community,the shaping of individual identity and the relationship between human life and social environment as well.
