对21世纪中国内地养生旅游发展状况进行评述,提出养生旅游定义、养生旅游资源定义与分类,以及养生旅游产品与项目的设计三个原则、六大类养生旅游产品与项目、养生旅游四大特征、养生旅游的养生意义、养生旅游发展三个阶段,细分"有车族"和"银发市场"两大养生旅游市场。
