The paper introduces the design of switching quantities input-output module which adopts the device–CPLD from Altera Corporation to realize the input control of the interrupt-driven switching quantities,and the technique which is based on the module to realize the bidirectional parallel function of the I/O interface to Ethernet/IP communication processor.
