An Analysis on the Counter-Narrative Novels of Chen Ran

陈染小说是当代文坛一个特殊个案。首先,其内容超越传统主流叙事红线,涉及久被遮蔽的女性私密领域;其次,其表达方式颠覆了传统叙事惯例,注重诗性地表达人物内心独特而惨痛的边缘境遇和创伤记忆,因而她的小说带有鲜明的反叙事特征。

Chen Ran＇s novels have been deemed as a heresy in modern literature.At first,they have gone over the prohibition line to cover the feminine territory that has long been buried under taboo.Then,they are counter-narrative by sticking to the poetic depiction of the marginal experience and scar memory that is bitter and distinct to the characters in depiction,a practice contrary to the literary tradition focusing on narration.
