摘要
阻遏现象至今是个不解之谜。本文首先把阻遏现象分为四大类,并在词汇语用学框架内从历时角度对国外主要的形态阻遏研究进行述评。本文把国外形态阻遏研究划分为三个阶段(初级阶段,发展阶段和相对完善阶段),介绍这三个阶段的代表人物和主要理论并指出各自的不足。文章最后试用词汇系统的非单一性对形态阻遏现象进行阐释,并就未来形态阻遏研究提出建议。
As Di Sciullo et al（1987） point out,what blocking actually is ＂remains a mystery.＂ In a new attempt to solve this puzzle,this paper explores its related issues by classifying blocking phenomena into four categories and offering a diachronic review of notable morphological blocking studies abroad within the framework of lexical pragmatics.Dividing these studies into three phases（the elementary,the developing and the relatively improving ones）,subjecting these phases to a critical examination one by one,and utilizig the concept of the non-monotonicity of the lexical system as well,the author comes up with a fresh account for the blocking phenomenon and some suggestions for further studies on the topic.
