口语中的"X什么X"式,是一种特殊的否定结构。X具有容纳一切语言形式的普适性特征。X的长度越长,越难进入该结构式。"X什么X"的否定类型大致有两种:"引述性否定"和"非引述性否定"。其中,"引述性否定"又分"描写否定"和"元语否定"两种。由于语境和进入该结构中成分的不同,这些否定类型又有着各自不同的否定对象。

＂X Shen me（什么）X＇＇ is a special kind of negative structures. X can be all the language element. The longer the length of X, the more difficult for it to enter the structure. In the structure ＂X Shen me（什么）X＇＇ there are two general types of negation： ＂quotational negation＂ and ＂non- quotational negation.＂. The former can be divided into ＂negation of description＂ and ＂ negation of metalanguage ＂ . These types of negation have different object because of the different contexts and the different components in them.
