摘要
GRIM-19主要定位于线粒体,其作为线粒体中NADH脱氢酶复合物的基本功能亚单位,在线粒体Ⅰ型呼吸过程中至关重要。GRIM-19还对于维持线粒体膜电位至关重要。在病毒感染导致细胞癌变的过程中,GRIM-19很可能是病毒癌基因结合的靶点,目前认为,GRIM-19参与和细胞的增殖、凋亡的调控过程,其表达降低或位点突变可以导致细胞的异常增殖和恶性转化。
GRIM-19,mainly found in mitochondria,which is essential for the assembly and functioning of mitochondrial complex I.GRIM-19 is also essential for maintenance of mitochondrial membrane potential.During viral oncogenesis,GRIM-19 may be a general target protein similar to other cellular tumor suppressors.GRIM-19 is involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and apopt osis,and low expression or mutation of GRIM-19 contributes to abnormal proliferation and cell transformation.
