This article digs beneath the surface of the loss of the culture-embedded image in translation and points out the cause for the phenomenon and, lastly, comes up with effective countermeasures. This article brings forth the two translating measures of domestification and foreignization,which were given due comments, and lastly recommends the combination of the two translating techniques.
